MCP lets a compatible assistant discover Billkind tools for looking up invoices and retrieving PDFs. With the permissions you approve, it can also manage clients, drafts, invoice settings, saved products/services, templates and recurring recipes.
Use the web app to review and issue an invoice. MCP supports draft-only recurring schedules with the same GST/LUT, Hours/Qty, currency and line settings. It cannot issue invoices, send invoices to clients, move money or enable automatic issue/email. Active draft schedules may notify the owner. Those choices stay in the owner app.

Recurring recipes
Separate recurring read and write access covers saved recipes and draft-only scheduling. New MCP schedules default paused; activation must be requested. Existing automatic schedules can be paused or archived, with recipe changes reserved for the owner app.
Your current plan
Read the bound workspace’s plan, limits and usage. Write access follows the same subscription and capacity rules as the app.
New settings, template and recurring permissions are explicit opt-ins. Existing connections do not gain them automatically. A source draft can be copied only with the required invoice access, and the source stays unchanged.
A few practical details.
Assistant access requires the app’s configured, publicly reachable endpoint and a client that supports Billkind’s authentication flow. Particular assistants can have different account or connector requirements; no specific third-party connection is guaranteed.
Solo includes 20 active API/MCP connections per business; Studio includes 50. Both tiers are owner-only today. Studio access for up to 3 members is planned, not available yet. The app, API and MCP enforce the same plan limits. Writing requires an active subscription or recorded grace period; existing records remain readable after paid writing expires.
Billkind does not include an AI model subscription or pay for an assistant’s usage. These connections do not add AI inference to the marketing website.
Can I connect an AI assistant?
Billkind supports permission-scoped OAuth, API tokens and MCP for compatible clients. Settings, template and recurring permissions are separate opt-ins. An approved assistant can manage drafts and draft-only recurring recipes, including GST/LUT and decimal Hours/Qty; it cannot issue invoices, send invoices to clients or enable automatic issue/email. Active draft schedules may notify the owner. Your selected Solo or Studio plan has the same limits in the app, API and MCP. Both tiers are owner-only today; Studio access for up to 3 members is planned, not active. A configured public endpoint and compatible client are required.
